This is my new website which I hope to have up and running soon. In the meantime, here’s a little bit about me.

You’ve known me as Tina Mari on Twitter and Facebook for the last three years. In these three years I have been reading your books, writing and posting reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, and other sites. I’ve also been promoting your books by retweeting your promotional tweets and reviews of your work on Twitter. I’ve been sharing your posts and reviews on Facebook as well. I do hope this has helped boost your sales a bit. I do these things as a, “Thank You,” for all that each of you have taught me during these past few years.

Some of you have come to know me a little by chats and interests we’ve shared; the social media Tina Mari. Here I would like to share a little bit more about me and what I’ve been ‘up to’. I’m sure many of  you have asked yourselves this question at least once.

My name is Christina Mari Combs, originally from NYC now living in Ohio. I am a published author, although up until recently this was a couple of decades ago. I did work in the publishing industry at one time. In the late 70’s and early 80’s I worked as a copyeditor and proofreader for Times Mirror Magazines, Inc.. In 1982, I left New York and changed careers. In 2002, I retired from my position as CEO, and CFO, for a residential construction and land development company in the Midwest.

Once retired I had plenty of time for my two favorite pass times, reading and writing. This re-acclimated to the publishing industry. I was astounded!  Indie Authors having to lose precious time promoting their own work, paying their own publishing costs, and competing in a flooded market was horrifying! I’ve always loved books  and always did love working with authors. When I saw how the Independent Publishing Industry operated, my heart immediately went out to all writers. This is when I decided I needed to do something to help out. Hence the past few year of reviewing and promoting on social media at no charge to the authors.

During this social time I observed, asked questions, and researched. In these three years, by the grace and generosity of you writers, I have relearned the publishing industry, improved my writing skills, and made some new friends. In between my reading, reviewing, researching, and committed advance copy reading, I founded TMC Author Services – a girl has to eat, right? Through TMC, I’ve  been doing beta reading, copy editing and proofreading mostly for new authors needing a little direction and cost consideration. In between all of this I’m doing some writing of my own. I am enjoying myself and am so happy to finally be doing something I love; something I was meant to be doing all along.

Now you know a little more about me.

I’d like to thank those of you that have  helped me, trusted me with your work, and those that I’ve had some laughs with. Your support, encouragement, and constructive criticism have been greatly appreciate. You all have been great, really. I wish you all great success.

Come visit me when I’m up and running!
